MR MATCHA™ / MATCHA NOTES

Matcha,
but colder.

Ceremonial matcha. Organic Milk. A little sweetness. A lot of matcha flavor.

This is gelato for people who actually want to taste the tea.

MR MATCHA Ceremonial Matcha Gelato
01

It starts with the tea.

Matcha isn't just green tea flavoring. It's finely ground tea leaf, which means you're tasting the whole leaf — color, aroma, bitterness and all.

Good matcha has depth. Vegetal. Smooth. Slightly bitter. Naturally savory. Sometimes a little sweet.

We don't try to hide that.

02

So, what does “ceremonial” mean?

Ceremonial matcha is generally selected with drinking in mind — where aroma, color, texture and flavor matter.

When you put that kind of matcha into gelato, the goal isn't to turn it into something else.

The goal is to let it still taste like matcha.

Less sugar.
More tea.
03

Not your average green tea ice cream.

A lot of green tea ice cream leans sweet first, tea second.

We go the other direction.

MR MATCHA™ Ceremonial Matcha Gelato is intentionally matcha-forward — balanced with organic milk and sweetness, but with enough tea character left to remind you what you're actually eating.

04

Yes, matcha can be bitter.

And that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Bitterness is part of matcha's natural flavor profile. It can sit alongside vegetal, savory and subtle sweet notes.

In gelato, the trick is balance.

Creamy enough.
Sweet enough.
Matcha enough.

05

We've been on matcha for a minute.

MR MATCHA™ started in Southern California in 2017 with one simple obsession: matcha.

Years later, we're still here — just colder.

Ceremonial Matcha Gelato became a natural extension of what we've always been about.
