Age

The public community is intended for people age 13 and older. Café-owner tools are for people age 18 and older who are authorized to act for a business.

Regular users do not need an account

You can browse and use normal community features without creating a customer account. You may choose a unique public Club @username. A username is associated with the pseudonymous browser identity used by the service; it is not a traditional customer account, a verified real-world identity, or proof that you own a person’s name, business name, brand, or trademark. Browser cookies and pseudonymous identifiers may still be used for security, content ownership, reactions, saves, duplicate prevention, rate limits, moderation, username continuity, and other service functions described in the Privacy notice. MR MATCHA CLUB may reserve, restrict, rename, or release usernames when reasonably necessary to prevent impersonation or confusion, address trademark or rights concerns, enforce the Community Guidelines, protect the service, or comply with law. If your username changes, the name shown on earlier eligible content tied to the same pseudonymous browser identity may also be updated. If the same browser is recognized as the creator, the service may offer self-delete controls for eligible Pours, posts, replies, Journal comments, and Club Chat messages; those controls do not permit deletion of another visitor’s content.

Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. By submitting content, you give MR MATCHA CLUB a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, format, display, distribute, and create ordinary promotional previews of that content as reasonably needed to operate, improve, and promote the Club. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content.

Journal contributions

Journal is a reviewed editorial/community feature. A contributor may submit a story, up to five photos, a creator name or Anonymous byline, optional public social/website links, and an optional private contact email. A pending submission may be withdrawn through the same anonymous browser when that ownership link is still available. After MR MATCHA CLUB publishes a Journal story, publication, unpublishing, and removal are controlled by MR MATCHA CLUB rather than by an anonymous self-delete button. Contributors may contact Help & Feedback to request a correction, update, or removal. Providing creator links does not guarantee promotion, ranking, traffic, or publication.

Community rules

Follow the Community Guidelines. Do not impersonate others, expose private information, harass people, manipulate ratings or reports, post illegal material, upload content you do not have permission to use, or use the Club to mislead people.

Cafés, listings, and offers

Café information can come from businesses, community members, public sources, or MR MATCHA CLUB. A “Verified Café” badge means MR MATCHA CLUB has taken steps to verify control of that café profile. It is not a guarantee, endorsement, inspection, certification of quality, or promise that every detail is current.

Offers are provided by the participating café. The café is responsible for the accuracy, availability, restrictions, and redemption of its offer. Unless MR MATCHA CLUB clearly says otherwise, MR MATCHA CLUB is not the seller and is not a party to the purchase between a customer and café.

Ask MR MATCHA and AI recommendations

Ask MR MATCHA is an AI-assisted drink and café guide. Depending on the request and available context, it may use MR MATCHA CLUB activity, café profile and menu information, images you choose to submit, and current public web information retrieved through service providers such as OpenAI. When Ask MR MATCHA is opened from a café profile or café QR code, the service may include that validated café profile as context so words such as “here” can refer to the correct café. That café context does not mean MR MATCHA knows or verifies your precise physical location.

AI output can be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Menu items, customizations, popularity, prices, ingredients, allergens, hours, and availability can change. “Surprise me” and other menu-photo recommendations are designed to use items supported by the menu or café context provided, but users should confirm important details with the café. Public-web availability varies, and Ask MR MATCHA does not have guaranteed access to every post, review, listing, or page on services such as Google, Yelp, TikTok, Instagram, or other third-party sites.

Recommendations and “popular” signals are informational and do not guarantee that an item is a top seller or the best choice for every person. Sponsored or café-originated material may be labeled and handled separately from organic recommendation signals.

Community trust, verification, and ranking

MR MATCHA CLUB may use community activity and integrity signals—such as Pours, Tried and Want activity, saves, “would pour again” responses, recency, optional café visit-code verification, repeated activity, and safety or spam signals—to organize discovery and reduce manipulation. A “Verified Pour” means an optional visit-verification signal matched the café when the Pour was submitted; it is not a guarantee that the opinion is accurate, that a purchase occurred, or that MR MATCHA CLUB endorses the café or drink. Internal integrity or trust scores are service-protection signals and are not public ratings of a person. Sponsored or business-originated content must be identified when applicable and may be treated differently from organic community content in ranking.

Cup-first reputation and business updates

MR MATCHA CLUB is designed around drink-level discovery rather than a single public star rating for an entire café. Community patterns such as Known For, Would Pour Again, taste tags, saves, and trend direction may appear only when the service has enough qualifying activity. Cafés may publish factual New Pour information and may mark a recipe as updated, but those actions do not let a business rewrite, delete, purchase, or directly control organic community signals. Older feedback may remain available while newer activity is evaluated separately after a recipe update.

Food, allergies, prices, and availability

Menus, ingredients, allergens, preparation methods, prices, stock, and hours can change. Confirm important information directly with the café, especially allergy, dietary, or medical concerns.

Moderation

MR MATCHA CLUB may use automated safety and spam checks, third-party safety providers, and human review to block content before publication, hold it privately for review, hide, remove, restore, limit, or preserve content and access when reasonably necessary to enforce rules, protect people or the service, address reports or disputes, or comply with law. Submitted text and certain images may be processed by service providers such as OpenAI for automated safety classification as described in the Privacy notice. Automated systems may make mistakes, and MR MATCHA CLUB may review or change a moderation decision when appropriate. Severe or repeated abuse may result in temporary or longer posting restrictions tied to pseudonymous browser/security signals. A report does not automatically prove wrongdoing or guarantee removal.

Copyright and other rights

Do not upload material you do not have permission to use. Copyright or rights complaints can be sent to mrmatcha@mrmatcha.com with enough information to identify the work and the material at issue. See the Copyright & DMCA page for the notice process. For formal DMCA notices, use the designated-agent information published on that page.

Feedback and ideas

If you choose to send a bug report, idea, suggestion, or other feedback, you allow MR MATCHA CLUB to review and use that feedback to operate, fix, improve, and develop the service without an obligation to pay you. Please do not send confidential or proprietary information through the feedback form. This does not transfer ownership of your existing photos, brands, or other materials.

Service availability

The Club may change, experience downtime, or stop offering a feature. We do not promise that every listing, post, map result, offer, or service function will always be available, complete, or error-free.

Responsibility and limits

Use the Club at your own discretion. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MR MATCHA CLUB is provided without warranties that are not expressly stated here, and MR MATCHA is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by ordinary use of the service. These Terms do not limit liability or consumer rights where the law does not allow that limitation.

Changes and ending access

We may update these Terms as the Club changes. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, fraud, impersonation, security problems, or legal requirements. You may stop using the Club at any time.
